Nehru Zoological Park:


  • More than 100 species of animals, birds, and mammals can be seen here
  • Nocturnal cave is the main attraction as it artificially reverses night and day for the animals.

Golconda Fort:


  • Listed as an archaeological treasure which has produced famous gems like Koh-i-Noor, hope Diamond.
  • Known for the magical architecture especially the Clapping Portico where if you clap from the entrance it can be heard at the top of the fort and also the amazing view from the highest point of the Fort
  • Take the help of a local guide to understand the history of this fort.
  • Recommended to wear shoes as it requires a lot of walking to reach the top of the fort.
  • Sound and light show, Nagina Baug, Rani Mahal Mosque are the other main attractions.

Charminar:


  • Square shape structure with four pillars and it has a spiral staircase that takes you to the apex of the tower.

  • Explore the street shopping - Lad Bazaar is known for bangles which can be made customized based on our requirements - Pathar Gatti is known for its pearls.

Hussain Sagar Lake :


  • Necklace shaped lake which connects two parts of the city Secunderabad and Hyderabad

TIPS & ADVISES

  • Recommended to wear shoes in Golconda Fort as it requires a lot of walking to reach the top of the fort and also don’t forget to carry a bottle of water.
  • You need to bargain to the core for best price during the street shopping in Charminar
  • Not recommended for Asthma patients in Snow world as the temperature inside the park goes to – 5 °C
  • Nehru Zoological Park is closed on all Mondays
  • Should try Irani Chai with Osmania Biscuits
  • Don’t forget to carry driving license if you are planning to avail self-rental service You need to bargain with auto drivers as they demand exorbitant fares irrespective of the distance
