Tippu’s Drop:


  • It’s one of the tourist attractions in Nandi Hills.
  • During Tippu’s regime, criminals were put to death at this place.
  • One can have the panoramic view of the villages which at the footprints of Nandi Hills from this spot

Bhoga Nandeeshwara:


  • This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • It was built by Cholas with architecture design reflecting the beauty of arts and a gives peaceful ambiance for god lovers

Amrita Sarovar:


  • It’s a small pond located beside Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple, which enhances the beauty of the temple.

Nehru Nilaya:


  • It an attractive guest house /bungalow built in British style architecture.

Muddenalli Museum:


  • It is dedicated to Sir M. Visvesvarayya, former Dewan of Mysore.
  • This museum is a collection of writings, paintings, and photographs of Sir M. Visvesvarayya.

TIPS & ADVISES

  • A lot of traffic can be expected especially during the weekends, so if you don’t want to miss the sunrise reach as early as possible.
  • Be careful while driving since there are many hairpin bends while climbing uphill.
  • Two Parking stations are available, either you can park your car in the main parking station at a nominal fee and then walk for 1km to reach the top of the hill or you can take your car to the top of the hill and park there. It’s always recommended to park your car in the main parking station since you can enjoy the scenic beauty of nature during the walk.
  • Entrance fee and parking fees are applicable.
  • Recommended to carry a bottle of water if you are climbing the hill from the main parking station.
  • Restaurants/shops are available here.
  • Beware of monkeys, don’t keep any food items in your hands.
  • No restrictions in bringing food from outside.
  • Camera is allowed here.
  • Be careful while walking through the steep areas of the hill during monsoon time.
  • Entry is restricted after 6 pm
